NASA claims that she "removes" UHI, and this is true, at least partly, evidenced by substantially lower Land Only temperatures. But concerned about the final temperatures (Land + Ocean), these figures are mystically almost same.

This map ends to the year 2017, so it is a little old. NASA gives strongest warming despite "removal" of UHI. It is interesting that according to Met Office, 1998 is warmer than 2005; according to NOAA, 1998 is same than 2005; according to JMA, 1998 is warmer than 2005 or even 2010. It seems that everyone has "corrected" temperatures since then. Met Office data is probably from HADCRUT44, because HADCRUT3 was deleted in 2014 and HADCRUT5 was not invedted yet.

Land + Ocean Jan-Dec 2023 (1,200 km radius).If you use Land-Ocean ratio 0.46/0.54 you get this figure +1.15°C. But if you want to get +1.20°C, you have to use ratio where Land covers over half of Earth. Magic trick by NASA.

NOAA gives +1.18°C.NOAA: Land Only: +1.79°C - Ocean Only: +0.91°C - Land + Ocean: +1.18°C. You get this figure if you use ratio 0.30/0.70. This is the real ratio between Land and Ocean. No magic trick by NOAA, but no "removal" of UHI neither.

Land + Ocean (1,200 km).From +1.12°C to +1.27°C (250 km radius vs. 1,200 km radius). Huge increase.
And what does NOAA say.

NOAA Land + Ocean: +1.19°C - much higher than NASA +1.12°C and a little higher than Jan-Dec 2023.Now this gets complicated. NASA Sep-Oct-Nov 2025. Only +1.12°C (Radius 250 km). This so small because now NASA uses ratio for 0.34/0.66. And for Jan-Dec 2023 NASA used ratio for 0.46/0.54. But this eliminated in the final results (1,200 km radius), so it is +1.27°C. Why NASA is using such tricks, I don't know.
Met Office:
• Jan-Dec 2023: +1.11°C.
• Sep-Nov 2025: +1.09°C.
• Cooling by 0.02°CJMA:
• Jan-Dec 2023: +0.54°C.
• Sep-Nov 2023: +0.46°C.
• Cooling by 0.08°CJMA: Base Period 1991-2020.
