A few more games. It becomes more difficult to find playable games. Couple of these games are excellent, others fairly good. I have tried to avoid terrible games.
I have concentrated on Windows 3.1 games, partly because these are usually functionable and trusted, and I have Win 3.1 at home.
ALDO'S ADVENTURE (***)
Like Donkey Kong or Super Mario.
ALDO AGAIN (***)
Aldo's second adventure
ALDO'S ASSAULT (***)
Aldo's third adventure.
SPACED-OUT INVADERS (*****)
Space Invaders clone. Full version with High Score list. Excellent game.
CASH INVADERS (*****)
Also Space Invaders clone. High Score list. Excellent game. I am not sure if this is full version or not. It might not work (well) at my MikroMikko. Do not change the keys. Arrow-keys work well and you can't change these back.
GALACTA (***)
Also Space Invaders clone. Modest version. High Score list missing.
THE BLACK ORB (***)
You walk and collect items. Like Gauntlet.
RODENT'S REVENGE (****)
Classic Windows 3.1 game. Simple idea but I like it. You have to seliminate cats!
THE ADVENTURES OF MICROMAN (***)
Like Jetset Willy or Mr. Robot (Commodore 64). Classic Windows 3.1 game.
TETRIS 2.0 (****)
When Tetris was introduced, it was a little overrated, perhaps because it was created the USSR. It is still fairly good game with a few defects. The speed is climbing too fast and the game becomes too difficult to play. This is the only version you can steer the blocks easily with the arrow keys.
JEZZBALL (****)
Classic Windows 3.1 game. Included at the original Windows Entertainment Pack in 1992.
ARKANOID (***)
Breakout-clone. Very difficult. Keyboard-controlled, which is a positive thing.
CHIP'S CHALLENGE (***)
You walk and collect items. Classic Windows 3.1 game.
ZEROTH ZONE (****)
Classic Scramble. Difficult. No High Score list.
INVASION OF THE MUTANT SPACE BATS OF DOOM (*****)
Great game. Much similar like Cash Invaders even it was created almost ten years earlier and it has a little less animation. It is a little to fast for IBM ThinkCentre s50. It might work better at my MikroMikko Indiana with 486 processor.
PAC-BAR (****)
Pac-Man clone with High Score list. Happy smiling monsters. Very difficult to play. You have nine lives but you lose them quickly. Created in Venezuela, 1995.
GOBMAN (****)
Pac-Man clone with High Score list. Little easier to play compared to Pac-Bar.
PHAROAH'S CURSE (**)
Classic Windows 3.1 game. Requires more than 2 MB disk space. Someone might like it, but too difficult for me to play.
