There are thousands of games at the internet, but only fraction of these are actualle functionable. I have tried these games with a pretty old computer; IBM ThinkCentre s50 from the year 2005, and the second computer MikroMikko Indiana, created in 1995. In these old computers, these games work pretty well; it is possible that all of these are not functionable at the modern computers.
There are some games which actually might destroy your computer. That's why my examples are simple games which do not use much memory; less than 1 MB.
MS-PACMAN (***)
Created in 1983, but it is still functionable
ALIEN ATTACK (***)
Very simple, but I love to play it.
CLEANUP (****)
Very simple, but I love to play it. It takes months to find out your limits.
CHAMP CENTIPEDE (**)
I found it boring.
PIPE DREAM (*****)
I love it. It works better if you have Windows 3.1 at your computer.
WINRISK (*****)
I love it. Bigger screen, works better, if you have Windows 3.1. I suggest you to click "Options" and to limit number of armies. Then highest number is 12. Otherwise your enemy could have thousands of armies, and the game will never end. It is easy to win the computer, but I still use to play it.
METEOR MISSION (**)
Same idea as Commodore 64 "Jupiter Lander". The game will end after you have reached a certain level.
HEXXAGON (****)
It is very easy to beat the computer if you play alone. Much funnier if there are two players.
HEXXAGON 2 (****)
A little updated version. A little smarter AI.
FIDELITY CHESSMASTER 2100 (*****)
This is an incredible game. Almost impossible to win the computer. Amazing that they could create such game in 1989.
BOMB JACK (****)
Classic Commodore 64 game.
JUMPMAN LIVES! (*****)
I played it in 1985 and I loved it! If you want volume off, press "S" during the game.
INVADERS 1978 (****)
Faithful to the original the Atari 2600.
BRICKS 1.9 (*****)
I am speechless. 48 levels!
ANT-RUN (****)
By William Soleau. He is not very talented programmer. But sometimes he has had some good ideas.
BATTLE FOR ATLANTIS (*)
Also by William Soleau. The game is terrible. Created in 1990, two years earlier than Winrisk. Similar idea.
SKYSHARK (***)
Shoot`em up. Someone would like it. Not my type.
NIGHT RAID (****)
Like old Paratrooper. More developed version.
EGAROIDS (***)
Simple game. Eliminate asteroids.
GET 5! (*****)
This is an incredible game. Computer AI is very intelligent. And there is list of high scores.
UFO INVASION (***)
I have nothing special to say about this game.
You can still buy a brand new Commodore 64 in Finland. But I don't know fot how long. Both full size version
or mini version available. Google "Gigantti Commodore 64". This is not commercial. I just love it!
