Fukuoka Wings

Created: Pasi Toivonen, 2024

Welcome to Japanese airline 'Fukuoka Wings'.

It is a small local airline founded in 1964, in Fukuoka, Japan.
Like it's name, the airline is centered in Fukuoka and flies from
there to couple of destinations in Japan and also Europe, United
  States, South Africa and Australia.

QBasic Code

Fukuoka Wings has only one plane, B-727 and only one route: from
Fukuoka to Sapporo. Your job is to make profit, buy new planes
and proceed to next year, and if you are lucky to reach the final
year: 2064. It is end of the world. And you get 50000k bonus.

  There are 17 levels:

  Level  1: Fukuoka - Tokyo
  Level  2: Fukuoka - Sapporo
  Level  3: Tokyo   - Sapporo
  Level  4: Fukuoka - Taipei
  Level  5: Fukuoka - Anchorage
  Level  6: Tokyo   - Moscow
  Level  7: Tokyo   - Helsinki
  Level  8: Tokyo   - Denver
  Level  9: Tokyo   - Seoul
  Level 10: Tokyo   - London
  Level 11: Fukuoka - Rome
  Level 12: Tokyo   - Johannesburg
  Level 13: Fukuoka - Sydney
  Level 14: Tokyo   - Oslo
  Level 15: Fukuoka - Chengdu
Level 16: Tokyo   - San Diego
Level 17: Tokyo   - Ulan Bator

DC-6 has the highest risk of plane crash, 1/410 and it grows a little
every year. A-321XLR is the most safe, 1/1100 at the beginning. It is
also the most expensive to buy, but you get 30000k USD compensation
when you decide to quit the game. It has also the lowest consumption.
  of fuel.

You can't sell the plane, except at the level 14. But you can apply
that only to planes 2-6. However, your first plane is B-727, a very
safe plane in the year 1964, but the fuel consumption pretty high.

SAFETY AND FUEL CONSUMPTION VALUE BY PLANE

AV-rate means how well does a plane fit for certain route.
It varies, naturally. If the plane has to make stop-overs,
the rate is smaller, and it shrinks the profit, too.

I chose Japan because doing so I don't have to ponder inflation-
adjusted prices. Inflation in Japan is small and Yen has weakened.
Thus, prices in dollars have been steady for decades.
